What
to expect at Fall Creek
IF I WERE
VISITING a new church for the first time, I'd have questions like: What will it be like? Will my kids enjoy it? Will I
be able to stay awake? Okay, maybe you’ve never asked that
last one…
When you arrive at Fall Creek, you’ll notice a small building on a big property. We’re a young church with great hope for the years ahead. We use every room in this place, and look forward to expanding in the future. Coming into the foyer, there should be someone friendly to say hello and give you a copy of the weekly bulletin with announcements and a plan for that morning's service. They can also direct you to the appropriate classrooms if you have pre-school aged children. All classes are staffed with volunteers who are committed to your children having a fun, safe time while you are in the worship service.
The worship team does a great job leading musically, with a
contemporary feel–guitars, keyboard, drums and the like. You'll
find a welcome card in the bulletin, an easy way to request
information or give us feedback. You can drop your welcome
card in the offering basket or wait until after the service and
leave it on the foyer table.
We want to support parents in raising kids who become fully devoted followers of Christ, so after a few songs together, children in 1st – 6th grade go to their own area for age–appropriate activities designed just for them.
I usually speak for about 30 minutes, doing my best to present how the Bible addresses our deepest longings. After the service, you may want to visit a bit with some of the good people who call Fall Creek home.
There are variations to what the worship service looks like, of course. We believe God is honored with creativity! The bottom line is that we want you to meet Christ and experience his love here, in the company of others on the same journey. I hope you'll stop by this Sunday.
Looking forward to meeting you,
